Wow. I almost thought the night would end at 11. No way. This night was pretty damn crazy.
In this story, you will read about crazy old men driving milk trucks at 3AM, a crazy drunk girl, cars hitting walls for no apparent reason at all, and more.
The first place we really went to was Torrance Crossroads over on Lomita and Crenshaw around 11 to visit Danny, who was at a little hangout with ppl that own Honda cars. We were there for maybe 3 minutes before going to In-n-Out where we spent about an hour at. There, it was Reem, Ashley, Stephanie, Danny, Tin, Morgan, and I. Morgan drew an interesting drawing on one of the bags with a bunch of burgers smoking cigarettes, a skeleton smoking four cigarettes, Donald Trump, which he scratched out his name and wrote Donald Duck, and some other crap I can't even remember. He wrote down his name and his phone number and left it at the register so that the cashiers couldn't see it, but people that ordered things could.
No more than an hour later, Morgan received a text saying "I found your drawing."
By the time that we left, Danny, Ashley, Reem, and Stephanie had left and Aki had joined us in another epic adventure of randomness and endless laughs.
I forgot where we went first, but we wound up at the Del Amo mall to walk around. No more than 30 seconds after getting out of the car, something happened. There was a girl that was somewhere in her twenties and there was a security SUV with people talking to the girl. It was obvious to us that she was drunk + other things that we couldn't guess. Morgan said she was with us and she followed us as we walked around the plaza. The weird thing was that nobody could understand what she was saying. She also got cigarettes out of the trash. By that point, we felt that we needed to formulate some sort of exit strategy, which came naturally. We walked back to the car but the girl was asking if she could have a ride. After Morgan refused several times, we jumped into the car and locked the doors and left.
We went over to Koraku I believe it was...my memory is shot after going under so much stress lol. But we were there until they closed at 3AM and ate a bunch of stuff where Morgan broke his expensive headphones. What was interesting about this part was that when we left, I was the only one who heard it, but it was a lot of screeching following a revving engine and then a crunch.
As we left the parking spot, I saw it: a 240SX that hopped a six inch curb and faceplanted into a wall. Was Batman really that good of a movie that some guy can shoot out of the plaza driveway and hit a wall with his car and not even care? He was laughing when he got out of the car.
We went into Palos Verdes and that night/morning it was foggy. Very foggy! So we drove up in the mountains with our lights off half the time or drove through dense fog with a visibility of ten feet going 40 through narrow streets, using the lines in the middle of the road and the reflectors to guide us. Several times we almost died, whether it be discovering a cal de sac or cars parked on the side of the road. We also stopped in a really creepy area with some fog and weird blue lighting from the moon and Morgan turns off his car. We sit there in complete silence and within twenty seconds, we're back off driving at 40 because Morgan saw something move.
We also saw something rather unique: a milk truck in the shape of a rape van with the cab lights on. We could see that it was an older man with crazy hair. He pulls up to us and asks us for directions. Who the fuck drives a milk truck at 3AM and asks for directions? Honestly.
More near death experiences ensued, and we wound up at a donut shop over by the crossroads again. Whats this? A man ordering more than five boxes of donuts. That's over $250 worth of donuts! "What if it was a drug deal?" Aki wondered out loud. We forgot about it and dropped Tin off at home then we all went home. The time was around 4:30 when we concluded our adventure. There was supposed to be a waffle party at Morgan's house that I was going to go to at like 10 but when I woke up to reply to Tin's text, I fell back asleep.

Another Epic Night
Imagine being in a world where the streets are empty at night and a place that would normally be filled with life while the sun is out be void of life during the night when the fog lays a haunting film of mystery into your world of emptiness between the skyscrapers. That was the world I was in with Danny, Tin, Morgan, Aki, and German. Two cars, five guys, one epic adventure.
It started at around 8PM when Tin and I were hungry and wanted to eat some place cheap after another day at school and having a party in the study room with Peter and German along with the normal group of Tin and Morgan. Tin and I decided we wanted some place cheap so we wanted to hit up a Pho restaurant. In our midst of travelling, we called Morgan after picking up German and that's how our adventure kicked off.
We went to El Camino to meet up with Morgan and we took two cars to Tozai plaza to go to the pho restaurant. When we arrived, he suggested an even cheaper place at Nijiya. We went on over to there only to discover that the place that sold this $3 soba was closed. We ended up buying croquettes and bread and shumai to fill us up. That was round one.
We then discussed a plan for later that evening. By then it was 10:30. We would meet up later to hit up a Japanese crepe place over by Diamond Bar. I split with Tin and Morgan and took German with me. Went back to my house to pick some stuff up, I told my mom I'd be home by 1AM. German picked up some cash and we went to Morgan's house and met up with Tin while Morgan was inside his house taking a shower.
I left my car there and went one car with Morgan to pick up Aki. From there, we began our journey to the crepe place. While on Artesia heading over to the 405S, Danny calls me and asks me where I was. I told him where we were at the time and he turned out to be a block behind us. So we took the 405S > 110N > 10E > 60E . Danny eventually caught up with us, though Morgan insisted on trying to get to 120mph via cruise control buttons.
We arrived at the crepe place to find that it was closed.
Eventually we found ourselves at a Denny's after a series of races between Danny and Morgan's cars. Two lane streets that are completely empty = heaven.
At the Denny's to name a few things that went down were Morgan eating a chicken wing along with the bone and swallowing it, a wonderful soup out of the chicken wing bowl, and Morgan messing his eyes up while trying to make two forks look like three.
More races ensued and we ended up in Downtown LA. By this time it was around 2. The streets were completely empty and not many people were walking on the sidewalk. It was a creepy kind of feeling, but at the same time it was a great experience to see how empty downtown was.
While there, we visited over five gas stations because Morgan wanted to buy gas for his car.
We visited the spiral parking structure which is like the spiral in Tokyo Drift. Tons of fun there!
We finally ended up at a pho restaurant and I had some pho.
We went to a billiards place because Morgan wanted to play pool. In the place there was about ten tables there. Aki asked how much it was, the guy said $12 an hour. However, he said that "There was no parking," though we were already parked? We came to believe he didn't want us there because we were not Korean. Morgan went down to his car and pulled out all the rotting oranges from his trunk (about 15) and left them in the parking lot.
More races and more near death experiences occured and we headed back towards Redondo, but got off on an offramp way far away from Redondo. We hit Crenshaw and even more races happened.
The night was beginning to come to an end. The time was then 4AM. We dropped off Tin first and we all went home from there. Danny ended up sleeping on my couch. I didn't sleep until 5:30. The end.

Epic night
So the day started as it normally would: going to school and getting study room to do homework. As expected, days with Morgan are normally of epic magnitude in terms of events and laughs. Morgan told Tin and I that Weinersnitzel was having a free chili dog/ice cream thing today from 5-8PM. We took full advantage of that by visiting 5 different places. We also acquired several job applications to Marukai x2, Mitsuwa, and King's Hawaiian. We want to work.
After deciding to not go to class, Morgan came with Tin and I back to my house where we received a call from Aki. We then ferried ourselves over to his house to pick him up and go have real dinner. The place that we were supposed to go to was in Compton, so we expected to die. We bumped some music and got off at the wrong exit and got lost for half an hour. We finally found the place after going back and forth AVALON only to realize that it was closed. An old man with a fresh plate sat on a bench outside, eating it, bringing us to the conclusion that they had just closed. Disappointed and near the 110N, Morgan asked if we wanted to go to Daikokuya. We wholeheartedly agreed so we hopped on the 110 and went over to Downtown.
J-town is very quiet at 10PM on Tuesday night. However, we still had to wait half an hour to go eat at Daikokuya. Well the food was great anyhow. Morgan got a dish different from the ramen and regretted it because in his heart, he really did want ramen.
So what does he do?
After receiving our check, Morgan asks for a Daikoku ramen.
He nearly finishes it, too. He packs the rest in a container and we leave.
It was around 12AM when we left, but the night had just begun. We stopped by a frozen yogurt parlor, which was closed. Morgan walked in and asked if the machines were still on. We left J-town and passed through K-town. By now Morgan was delerious and was talking gibberish and rambling like some old man with PTSD and schizophrenia.
We stopped at a Jack in the Box because Morgan wanted ice cream. The place was closed but the drive-thru was open so we decided to go there. Morgan was going Tourettes mode again. He began to order before he even drove up to the speaker. He also mentioned his thoughts about Jack in the Box not having shakes at the time. Anyways, he drives up to the speaker and orders two Kona coffee shakes. The guy at the drive-thru happens to report to us that they have no shakes at the moment and Morgan bursts out laughing. This got the drive-thru guy to start laughing as well lol. We got trapped by another car so we had to just wait and drive through the whole thing and the guy was looking at us like we were stoners or something, which was a valid guess by the way Morgan was acting at the time hahaha
I recall passing by a building with high concentration of lamps in rows, which was supposed to be the abstract art in front of an office building. Morgan commented, "Why the fuck are these on?! Don't they know about the energy crisis?" Sometime after that, we turned around and hit up a 24 hour Ralphs. There were some chair displays set up in the aisles, which we picked the frozen foods aisle and lounged in there, eating ice cream. Pictures provided below. So then we left and passed by the same building with the light fixture art. Morgan made the same comment then said it was a deja vu.
We almost died on the trip home on the 405S. A bunch of merging lanes due to freeway surface cleaning because a minivan merged at the last second lol. So Morgan decides to drop Tin off first, whom had left all his things at my house, including laptop and backpack, which I have to take to him tomorrow morning.
Anyways, it was an epic night and I'm also out of money.
Here are some pictures from tonight and as well, pictures from last week at Royal-T cafe in Culver City with the Porta-Party.

Schooled
I'm taking the time to write this while I'm studying for a test which I believe will most likely prove to be somewhat a bitch. Not much has really happened this past week other than Chinatown and some fireworks that I shot up with Khiem and company. I got an 85 on my last test, which is ok, but a much better score than the test I took before that. This test I'm hoping isn't that hard because there wasn't really much to study for...it was mostly just applying a few things to a bunch of different scenarios. Unfortunately, I am oblivious towards many things so I'm hoping that this is a merciful test. It really isn't that hard of a chapter.

Mammoth!
So I just came back from Mammoth...I was gone from Thursday afternoon until around 7 tonight (Sunday). It was pretty chill. I went fishing one day, caught like 17 fish, but threw a LOT of them back, ended up catching my limit of 5 keeper size fish. Was nice. I managed to conquer two S class races in Gran Turismo and I didn't get as much sleep as I promised myself because the couch I slept on was quite uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was a nice trip with lots of good food :D!
Back to reality, I have a test tomorrow...ugh. I really wished that I didn't have Thursday off and could have just taken the test then because I forgot what I did for most of the damn chapter. Good game. I'll just have to study more to get it fresh in my mind. Vacation trips while going to school = sucky because when you return, you realize that you have a lot to catch up with.

Happy Birthday?
Well, since last time I've written here, its been about 5-6 days so here's a fair update with what's been happening lately: My birthday has passed on the 30th of June and I am once again poor. Thursday I went to Gyu-Kaku with Rikio, Danny, Tin and his cousins and we splurged there. I was quite sad with my wallet after that, though my stomach was pretty happy. Friday night i went to J-town and went to Daikokuya with Danny and Mike and his girlfriend. Saturday night I went to my grandma's house over in Marina to drop off Dustin and I got a haircut there. Sunday morning I was taking a shower and I somehow lost one of my plugs in the drain maybe, so I went to buy a new set, which I am pretty happy to have right now.
Come Monday, it was my birthday, which I spent at school from noon to 5:30 as usual, got a 60% on my first test and only one page of homework, which still took two hours to do. After that, I went to Admiral Risty for dinner with my family over in Palos Verdes, which was pretty great. Tin and Danny came by after and we had cake with had some crazy candles on it. Overall, not a bad weekend and was actually quite fun. Mike's birthday is tomorrow so I need to figure out what I'm getting him.
